About today’s guest:

AJ Gajjar with The Trauma Healing Parent

AJ is a mom, a trauma-informed child development specialist, parenting

consultant and children’s advocate, that specializes in supporting concerned

parents through high-conflict divorce and separation in a way that protects the

children both from their current experience of harm and from future trauma.

She has a degree in Developmental Psychology and over 15 years’ experience

working in the early child development sector, including speaking at National

Conferences on the positive outcomes of early childhood interventions.

She supports parents in creating environments in which these children can thrive,

and grow up to be psychologically and emotionally healthy – despite having a

maladaptive parent.

AJ began this work after her own experience through a high-conflict divorce that

was causing my daughter harm. She was not able to secure support from the

legal system to protect her, and had to find her own way to support her though

her experience.

It is now AJ”s mission to share what I have learned with other protective

parents so we can provide our children with the opportunity to heal and thrive

despite the harm they experience from the high-conflict / maladaptive parent.
