About today’s guest:

 

Tina has focused her practice on all aspects of family and domestic relations law, including divorce, division of assets, custody, alimony, child support, support modification, legitimation, paternity, and contempt since 1987.

She has held many leadership positions in the legal profession, including serving as a fellow of the Georgia Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, an exclusive organization of the nation's preeminent family law practitioners, a fellow in the Georgia Chapter of the International Academy of Family Lawyers, a master of the Charles Longstreet Weltner Family Law Inn of Court, past chair of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia, former Trustee and member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees for the Institute of Continuing Judicial Education which bears primary responsibility for basic training and continuing education of Georgia's judicial branch, and former chair of the the Commission on Continuing Lawyer Competency.

She was Atlanta Georgia Family Law Lawyer of the Year in 2018. She frequently speaks on family-law topics throughout Georgia and has published many articles on family law for Continuing Legal Education seminars. She's also a co-author of family law legislation. In addition to her trial experience, she has extensive expertise in resolving cases by mediation and settlement.
